Bought these waders for my daughter to use instead of what she was wearing that leaked. Fit was perfect! Brett was very helpful with picking out waders and boots for my daughter. Will be back to get more stuff.
This is a sweet little rod. Does exactly what I need it to. Perfect for small/medium stream fishing. It even performed well on a technical tailwater. Threw an indicator rig well enough. Love it.
I’m no expert but I know that the Patagonia Swiftcurrent Expedition Waders are pretty top of the line. I was looking for new waders because my lower end waders from another reputable source started leaking after 5 years. I was hoping to find something a little more expensive but didn’t want to spend top dollar.I found out that Patagonia reduced their prices to clear out stock for new styles. . Picked up the Swiftcurrent Expedition for almost half price. I spent a little more then I originally intended, but now I have top of the line waders for middle of the line price. Couldn’t be more pleased.
These pants are just about perfect for me. Fit is spot on, just a bit of stretch to them, and the nylon material seems to be very durable. Patagonia has been refining this design for years with little tweaks in successive seasonal colors, and they have the design dialed in just right now.
My only suggestion would be a built in webbing belt as my older pairs of similar pants from Mountain Hardware have, but the drawstring in these does well to take up a little slack and certainly is lighter for backpacking. 10/10, in my opinion.
