Our Thoughts:
The 8'6" 3wt Winston Air 2 is an ideal creek and technical dry fly rod. The 3wt is short and soft enough to get through every nook and cranny on a creek, but still the ample amount of reach to present accurately to rising fish on bigger waters. Some might not like the 3wt thinking its too weak to fight bigger fish, but because this blank is extended out to 8'6" the butt section is much thicker. This thicker butt section allows you to fish any fish that's willing to eat a dry fly.
