Our Thoughts:

The Winston Air 2 9'6" Air 2 is a great rod for someone who wants to be versatile on the water, but spends most of their time nymph fishing. It has the ideal length to make mending and high sticking easier, but isn't too long to hurt your dry fly presentation. The nice thing about this rod is it also has enough backend power to even be fished on stillwaters when it isn't too windy.

First higher end rod purchase. 38 river hours so far and am completely happy. Love the action and the balance. Very capable of being delicate but still has plenty of ooompf to throw streamers. No problems fighting 20-22” trout. Very sharp looking to boot.
